This was for last week's Stamp TV sketch challenge. This chair image from Nina's Fine Furnishings set was perfect for this sketch.

Just a little tip- if you want the sentiment to be on the cuttlebugged panel you need to stamp first then cuttlebug.

This is just a simple card made for the StampTV cha envy color challenge, the first mini vsn challenge over at SCS, and the Eat Sleep Stamp sketch.

I {heart} Chocolate

I find it a little interesting that I am scheduling this post ahead of time and it just happens to be Thursday's post. Why is that interesting? Well, today is the day- I go in for a doctor appointment to check on the size of my kidney stones: Here is the original post from last January if you don't have a clue what I am talking about! I am going in every year to check to make sure they aren't getting any bigger. One of the things I had to do to help with that was to change my diet- meaning- NO CHOCOLATE! I am/was a chocoholic so that was probably one of the hardest things for me. I have some things I can eat occasionally but then there are things that I can't eat at all (chocolate was one of those!).

Lovely Shelf Just for You

I used Nina's brand new Lovely Shelf card to create this card for the Sweet Sketch 27 Wednesday sketch challenge.  This is also for the color challenge over at StampTV to use blue and white.

Go Buckeyes!

My sister, brother in law, and nephew live in Columbus, Ohio and all are big Buckeye fans (as am I).  My nephew loves all things sports (courtesy of his sports nut of a father) and my sister recently took a picture of him wearing this football jersey (finally- I have been after her forever it seems like) so I had to use Fumble- one of the Sunshine Stamps images from the sports line.  I just love the crooked smile!

Snow Day!!

Isn't my nephew just the cutest?  I created this scrapbook page based on the sketch over at StampTV.  I just adore scrapping pages of him because I can use almost anything to showcase him.  This was from his first real snow that he experienced.  It snowed hard in Columbus that January (this would be in 2008 when he was just 1) and if I recall correctly- my sister said he LOVED it!

Birthday Cupcakes

For a new challenge blog called Just Us Girls.  This looks like it's going to be a fun challenge blog!  This week's challenge was for us to paper piece and an option to use pink.  I decided to combine the challenge with the sketch challenge over at StampTV.  Fabulous challenges!

OOH! I HATE internet problems

Last night I had internet issues and couldn't get online!  UGH!  Of course that meant I couldn't put a new post up because of it!  It was even giving me a bit of a problem tonight but it finally decided to cooperate :)

Today's card is a Gina K card- it was made for the Potluck Friday challenge over at StampTV.  Lee's challenge was a recipe challenge: 1 or more dp, 2 or more different types of bling, 3 or more pastel colors (UGH) and 4 or more layers.

My dp is su, my bling can be found in the pearls at the bottom and the copic spica glitter pens that I used on the flowers, the colors are the pink, the saffron, and the bordering blue.  and the layers are self-explanatory.  Thanks for looking

The Best Thing is You

This was created using Gina K.'s watercolor spritz tutorial over at StampTV (click the link to the right).  I used Pretty in Pink as my base color on the heart and then thumped with Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo.  I love the look this gives.  Thanks for looking.
