I'll Be Home for Christmas

One of the challenges over on SCS for the mini-VSN (virtual stamping night) was to create a card based on your favorite Christmas song (and include 2 embellishments). I don't necessarily have a favorite but I love Bing Crosby's version of I'll Be Home for Christmas in the movie White Christmas and this image just reminds me so much of that song. This is an old PSX stamp.

Recipe:
Stamp- PSX and a*muse|studio
Paper- Real Red, white
Ink- black, copic markers
Accessories- black rhinestone twinkle stickers, copic spica pen

Really, I'm not...

that much of a slacker- but things have been SO crazy that the old blog has taken a back seat. I am trying to make more of an effort to make healthier choices and then on top of that- a lot of what I have made has been for VSN so I can't show you that- YET! Here's another one for the mini-VSN that took place in late January! This one was actually a project that looks tricky but took no time at all once I figured out what I was doing. It's a luminary and I didn't put my light in but I can imagine it would look beautiful! :)

Paper- PTI, vellum
Ink- Regal Rose (and another SU also- or it could be berry sorbet)
Stamps- ippity (my mind is blank on the name of this set right now...)
Accessories- nestabilities, dimensionals

If you would like the directions on how to make this- let me know in the comments and I'll hunt down the tutorial I used :)

Rain or Shine

This was a card made for another of the mini-VSN challenges over at SCS. The main VSN event will take place Feb. 25-26. We would love to have you join us. You can find details HERE! The challenge was to paper piece two different parts of an image/use two different papers. I used two different Basic Grey papers- one on the umbrella and one on the dress and boots. I actually paper pieced the jeans but then "colored" over them with copic markers.

Recipe:
Stamps- Itty Bitty by Unity
Paper- Pumpkin Pie (or could be Tangerine Tango), white, Baja Breeze, Basic Grey
Ink- black, copic markers
Accessories- dimensionals, cuttlebug embossing folder, ribbon
