C is for Christmas
Yes, I know it's only April but... hello! It's APRIL! We are 1/4 of the way through 2012- YIKES!! Anyway, today's letter for the Blogging from A to Z in April challenge is obviously C and I went with Christmas- I am taking part in a Christmas card challenge for the year to make 5 a month. Last year, so sad, I didn't get any cards out! So this year I decided to get ahead of myself for once! All supplies are- once again a*muse|studio and can be found here. This has quickly become one of my go-to Christmas card color combos- it's so elegant and perfect with the stamp set of choice. Enjoy!
I also used navy satin ribbon but haven't put the picture in to upload.
So, if anyone wants to make a guess what D is put it in the comments- if you get it right I'll send you a picture! ETA- should be send you a CARD (who wants a picture- man I am TIRED!)

Merry Christmas- CAS
Today's challenge at the a*muse|studio challenge blog is to create a holiday card- I used my Holy Night set to create this very CAS Christmas card. This is the first stamping I have done in about 2-3 weeks so wanted to make something "easy" yet classy. You can get all supplies HERE and don't forget to create your wishlist for Christmas. a|s ships FAST (it does take a week to get from Seattle to TN) but I have customers in Oregon who have received theirs within 2 days of shipping- so- Make that wish list and direct your shopper to my site and let them have at it :)

I'll Be Home for Christmas
One of the challenges over on SCS for the mini-VSN (virtual stamping night) was to create a card based on your favorite Christmas song (and include 2 embellishments). I don't necessarily have a favorite but I love Bing Crosby's version of I'll Be Home for Christmas in the movie White Christmas and this image just reminds me so much of that song. This is an old PSX stamp.

Paper- Real Red, white
Ink- black, copic markers
Accessories- black rhinestone twinkle stickers, copic spica pen

Twine, Twine, Everywhere there's Twine :)
Sorry! Couldn't resist! :) The challenge at the a*muse|studio challenge blog this week is to use twine. Just a reminder that you do NOT have to use a|s products to play along (although if you have them we would love to see them)! I used one of the new Christmas sets with the cherry twine (little secret- this is the only a|s twine I have so far- I have several colors of solid twine and baker's twine here but it was purchased before a|s or before a|s started carrying it). Enjoy! All supplies are a*muse|studio

Sneak Peek- Christmas
Ready or not- Christmas is coming and if you are anything like me you like to make your Christmas cards. I like to have them made early but I am not big on mass-producing so I like to keep them simple. This one is sort of copied from the catalog using different colors and layers. Hope you enjoy!
Here's a look at the Holy Night stamp set and a new color from the holiday catalog from a*muse|studio. You will be able to purchase as of August 22 right HERE

Love, Peace, and Joy at Christmas
Well, I know it's only September but in an effort to get my Christmas cards made I believe that I will have a Merry Christmas Tuesday post (similar to my scripture Sunday posts). I have lots of Christmas cards to make and maybe this will help light a fire under me to get them completed. :)

Merry Christmas Stocking
Here's one of the BRAND NEW images from Sunshine Stamps. Sunshine has released a series of Christmas/Winter images that are just so much fun to color! There's a Christmas candle and ornament set, this stocking, a GORGEOUS vintage looking Season's Greetings bow and holly, and several others. AND, there have been new sentiments added- you can see them HERE. I sent the first two rows of quotes to Sunshine and put them into images. PLEASE see THIS POST to find out how YOUR favorite quotes/verses can be made into images. I am going to extend this for another week to try to drum up some quotes- tell your friends- post it on your blog- spread the word! Now, for the card! I used Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge 105. I LOVE this sketch- perfect for showing off that patterned paper!
