Need Some Driving Tunes?

I was looking through the list of resources over at SCS and one of them jumped out me: this CD case.  What a great gift to give someone a CD of songs just for them.  And, what better image to use than this adorable Super Bird from Sunshine Stamps.  I used my snap stamps to make the "title" of Driving Tunes and used my brand spankin' new In-Color markers from SU! to match my DP.  I am LOVING this Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo.  I have made SEVERAL cards already with these colors!

A Speedy Recovery

Well, Sunshine's Super Bird Race Car won the vote (by a landslide I believe)!  And here's my first card with him.  This one is going to be a fun image to play with so head over to Sunshine Stamps and get him before time runs out.  Sometime around the beginning of August Sunshine Stamps will be opening up the digi store and I, for one, can't wait!  All of Rob's drawings have been great and I have loved playing with them.  Now, onto some details.  I made this card using a sketch challenge from the Dare To Get Dirty Challenges over at SCS.  I have enjoyed them so far and still have several to do.  I hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it.  The inside says ....for a speedy recovery!

Paper- Riding Hood Red, Summer Sun, white, dp, Soft Sky

Introducing Millie Milk Truck

This is Malcolm Milk Truck's girlfriend Millie.  I wanted to make her fun and use a fun sentiment.  I actually had A LOT of fun with the milk truck- I have another card to show you later this week.  I had the image of spitting milk out of my nose after a hard laugh :)  So, that's why I went with this sentiment (which is computer generated).  I used my friend Nina's sketch (check out There's Magic in the Air over to the right).  Malcolm/Millie is available early due to do some flooding problems over at Sunshine's house.  Check out Sunshine Stamps for details on how you can get Malcolm/Millie for yourself.

Another Patrick Thank You

I made this to go along with the mini pizza box a few posts down.  Again, I am just loving the digi images from Sunshine Stamps.  For right now they are free but very soon they will be available for a nominal fee.  Check it out and see for yourself how cute they are!  I left the inside blank but someone commented in my previous post that this didn't have to be just a thank you for a policeman (although this would be GREAT for kids to make cards with and take to a policeman- hmmm.... I'll have to keep that in mind for my first graders).  It can also be a thank you for rescuing me type of card.  Anyway, here's another Patrick card.  I used my new Label 1 Nestabilities that I recently got!

Recipe:
Stamps- TAC, Digi- Patrick from Sunshine Stamps
Paper- Real Red, Basic Black, white
Ink- computer, black, copic markers, prismacolor markers
Accessories- Labels 1 Nestabilities, su scallop circle punch, jumbo circle punch

Introducing Patrick Patrol Car!

In contemplating what I wanted to do to show off this image I decided to go with a mini pizza box.  The tutorial for this can be found over on Splitcoast and then click on the resources tab at the top.  I have made several of these and this would be perfect to put some candy or a large cookie to say thank you and take to the police station.  I struggled on how to color this car and finally searched for police car images (there are a ton by the way and you can't go wrong!).  You can grab Patrick for yourself over at Sunshine's Stamps.  Just send Sunshine an email and he's yours.  I made a matching card which you'll get to see later in the week!  And, don't forget to join us next Saturday for another release!  Releases are at 5 P.M. Central!!

Lenny is Missing You

My only nephew lives 6 hours away and I haven't seen him since early May.  I'm REALLY hoping to get the chance to go see him in a couple of weeks if not a week from tomorrow.  I'm in wait and see mode - waiting on my sister to find out some info.  Anyway, I thought I would send him a card and since he loves any type of construction vehicle Lenny was perfect to use.  You can find Lenny at Sunshine Stamps (click either the sun blinkie or the Sunshine Stamps graphic to the right and they will take you right there.  Anyway, without further rambling here he is and the deets!  Don't forget to check back on Saturday evening for the complete post of the sneak peek below!

Lenora Loader

Here is Lenora Loader- Lenny's female counterpart.  I used the Gina K sketch from StampTV for this one.  If you like Lenora/Lenny you can go to Sunshine's Stamps to request it.  I used some new ribbon I just got from LimeLIGHT Papercrafts.  Isn't it cute?  You should be able to click the picture to make it bigger.  I just realized I forgot to switch the sizes from when I uploaded the pics the other day.  I paper pieced Lenora with some BG Lemonade paper (also bought at LimeLIGHT- and Mandy has FAST shipping- I ordered on Monday and I had it in hand on Thursday morning).  On the inside the sentiment continues ...and dish some dirt.

Ink- prismacolor markers, computer ink

Paper- Kiwi Kiss, Regal Rose, BG Lemonade, white

Lenny Loader is HERE!

Here's the full view.  This is probably one of my favorite projects that I have ever done!  I plan on getting some of the Hugs and Kisses candies and filling it up to give to someone when the need arises.  I used a prima tin that I recycled and some of the Summer Picnic dp from SU.  I originally planned on being able to see the candy through the clear top but decided instead to fill it in with the red circle instead.  This project also shows the versatility of digi images as compared to stamps.  Now, don't get me wrong, I love the feel of the stamp in my hand but for a project like this- digi stamps are perfect because the size can be manipulated for whatever you need.  You can see that around the outside I have several smaller images of Lenny to match the larger one on the lid.  Anyway, on to the deets:

Recipe:
Stamps- digi image from Sunshine's Stamps
Paper- SU dp, Real Red, barely banana, white
ink- computer, copic markers, prismacolor markers
Accessories- stardust pen, giga scallop, jumbo circle punch, ribbon, prima tin

NOW- you may be asking where I can find that adorable image :).  Well, wonder no more!  You can go to Sunshine's Paper Obsession where you will find more info!  Tell her I sent you!  You will be totally blown away by all that she has up her sleeve!  Now Go!!!!

A Sneak Peek

Here's your sneak peek of what's to come tomorrow afternoon (Saturday).  I know it's the 4th of July but be sure to come back to see the WHOLE project.  It's quite possibly one of my favorite projects.  Oh, and just a little excitement!  This is going to be the newest image over at Sunshine's Stamps which can be found at Sunshine's Paper Obsession.  You can get a peek at the image if you check out THIS post.  These images are just so much fun because they are perfect for the boys in your life!  Oh, and my excitement comes from the fact that I am on Sunshine's Design Team!  I'm so excited to be doing this for the next few months.  Being a teacher I have a need for a lot of boy "stuff" and these will help me achieve that very easily!  One of my goals has been to be on a DT and this goal has been realized.  Anyway, enough rambling- I promised a little something for a random commenter and the number selected was 4 and that was Stampin Cats who said:
