I created this card for SC31 over at SCS. I decided to make it more masculine in nature and had decided to use this sentiment as a focal point. I have a "someday" box and this will go in that box- because I am praying the day will come when I will have someone to give this to- but even if not I figure it is a good "friend" card anyway. I see this quote and I think of the fact that it's not about the things that happened in the past- it's about looking ahead to the future and living in the present.

Scripture Sunday #1

I have decided that Sundays on my blog will be "Scripture Sundays". I have several scripture stamps and since I have been reaching for them over and over I will be posting some of those cards on Sundays.

I'm going to make this a short post :)

This is SC36 over at SCS and I combined an {ippity} set with an Our Daily Bread Designs set to create this card. The sketch calls for a square where the flower is but I am not fond of the flower so I will probably take it off before I mail this card out.

Some friends and I (from SCS) decided to work our way through the sketch challenges. This is SC01 and I decided the branch from the {ippity} set Devoted was PERFECT for this sketch. I originally had created this for LAST week's ETSY Inspired challenge but didn't get it uploaded in time (my camera was broke and I was in the process of getting another one).
