School is over! Not that I didn't like my kids but I am sooooo glad that this year is over. It's been a rough one and an emotional one. I have had several kids dealing with their own "issues" and they had a tendency to bring it into the classroom. Now- on to news that I can finally share. I have known about this for a couple of weeks but I wasn't allowed to officially anounce it until today but... after two years of teaching kindergarten I am "graduating" to 1st grade. Actually now that I type that I am wondering if I already mentioned it. Have I mentioned it's been a rough year??? I have to go back on Tuesday for clean up but as long as I get it all done on Tuesday I am off until i choose to go back (which will be a few weeks so that I can start getting my new room ready). Now that I am off I can go hang out with friends and enjoy life like in this card- the first of many bellas. Oh, and by the way- Blog Candy winners, I haven't forgotten you- I'm getting it out hopefully tomorrow, Tuesday at the latest. It's been a crazy week and I haven't been home before 7 any night this week.

Just a note: It looks like the pants are purple- I actually used basic black ink but it turns purple when colored with it- next time I'll get out my marker! This is going to be a Blogger RAK but I don't know to whom yet!!!

Good for you. 1st grade will be fun for you. I have a daughter going into Kindergarten and one going into first grade next year. I love it when they are little. Best of luck to you.
