Aloha Kona

As you read this I am going to be on my way to Ohio to visit my nephew (and his parents). I am so excited about this- I saw them Labor Day weekend and didn't think I would get to see them again until Christmas but it has worked out that I was able to go for Fall Break. He turns 4 on Sunday (which is the day i will be coming back) and I just cannot wait!

This card was made for last week's OCLDT sketch challenge. The angled piece was perfect for Kona. It was also for the CD challenge to use Marina Mist, Early Espresso (I used chocolate), and Wild Wasabi (which is, quite possibly, my favorite green)

Birthday Fishes

This was made for the DTGD challenges. I got the idea to make a fishbowl card using the Bubbles set from Our Craft Lounge. Not a lot to say about this card- just wanted to show you a little creation. School is starting back and since I am moving to PreK I don't know what my time will be like. I'll try to keep posting daily but I am going to be scheduling a lot more! I am loving Our Craft Lounge stamps! They give me GREAT images and they are super fun to color! The weekly sketch challenge was posted Friday and as this is my last weekend before I head back to school I decided to go ahead and give it a whirl. I love the samples for this sketch- they were all FABulous! You can go check out the sketch and the DT sample on the OCL blog. I also made this for the Off the Wall challenge 19. I thought of Blushing Bride, Pear Pizazz, and Daffodil Delight when I saw the colors! That challenge can be found HERE

I'm LOVING this set by Our Craft Lounge- Hangin' Loose with Kona! He's just super cute. This card was made for the July 30 sketch over at OCL. This was a really fun sketch. I also used the curtain call colors from last week- Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black, white, Real Red, and Certainly Celery.
