This and That

Welcome to one of my little corners of the wonderful world wide web (I have a couple of them but this is the one that I share most often). Some are here for the first time, some are reading this through Facebook, and I know that some of you are here as regular readers. Today is a little bit different of a post- I am a new sponsor over at the blog Feeding My Temple (which I found through someone's link on Pinterest). The first post that I read by her was one that just resonated with me- it was way, way, way back in November. I immediately signed up to follow her blog and have received recipes, workout ideas and encouragement in all the journeys of life. Therefore it was sort of a no-brainer to sponsor her blog. Today is the post introducing me as a sponsor so, if you are here for the first time- WELCOME!

A little bit about this blog- you will see lots of paper crafting items- anything from cards to 3D projects. All of these are for sale (or at least able to be reproduced to sell) and shipped anywhere in the US. This is my therapy. My real job is a preK teacher for a public school system and life sometimes gets a little crazy- this is my "happy place". Along with these items I usually post thoughts that go along with the reasons behind making them- it might be faith related, circumstance related or just a general life check-in. I am also a creative consultant for a*muse|studio. They have an online catalog (or a real, hold it in your hands catalog) that I just love to look through. You can order online 24/7 right HERE!

To celebrate this sponsorship I am giving away a 2012 catalog. This catalog was released on February 1. If I get more than 10 comments I will throw in a second one. These catalogs are fabulous for ideas! Retail they are 9.95. All you need to do is comment. Let's see- tell me your favorite Bible Verse, share with me your favorite motivational pin on pinterest, or your favorite "weight loss"/encouragement quote. Or, just tell me who you are and where you are from.

One last thing- here's a card I made for those "sickies"- Get Well Soon! This is one of the CPS challenges from last month- loving this new grapefruit color (no time to create the linky at the bottom so the written recipe will work for today)

Recipe-
Stamps- Beautiful Botanicals (2 I think), Essential Sentiments
Paper- Grapefruit, sugar, french roast
Ink- French Roast, grapefruit
Accessories- scallop edge die, dimensionals

My favorite Bible verse is John 14:2. It gives me great comfort. I also paper craft and am part of a church card ministry.

I love your cards- they are so beautiful! I just came across your blog from Feeding My Temple. My name is Brielle and I'm a student in New York. I'm excited to read more about your craftings! :)
