You have waited so patiently- Travel Snacks (aka Blog Candy)

You all have waited so patiently as we went through the last couple of weeks. Life has been crazy and last week was parent conference week so I was busy every night! However, it has calmed down, this is testing week at school (first grade does NOT test) so we are hanging out this week and should have quite a bit of fun. We are embarking on our Flat Stanley project this week at school- I think the kids will really enjoy it! The great part- I counted the other night and we are down to 35 days of school! WOOHOO!!! This summer promises to be very busy as I am heading back to Romania on a mission trip, in charge of the Kindergarten hallway during VBS, a cousin's wedding, visiting with the family, and hopefully getting some time to relax! I also put in for a transfer to a closer school so if that goes through then I'll have to set up a whole new class!

On to the good stuff. My blogaversary was a few weeks ago and so to celebrate I have been collecting things for the last few weeks. We will have one giveaway a day with the "big" one to be on Friday. Today is Sunday which means we will have five "small" giveaways and then the big one (which is not really more but it's different) on Friday-next Sunday. You will have something specific to do for the big one but I'll post that Friday morning!

Sunday's Snack: Two clear stamp sets from Target. I found these and thought they would be great for all of the vacation scrapbooks and the wedding cards. I'll throw in some ribbon also!

To register for this snack- let's see... post a link to your all time favorite card or project that YOU have created! I'll be checking them out.

I'll do a random drawing (printing and cutting apart the names) at 9:30 (EST) Monday night. Just post here! Don't forget to check back at 9:45 for the winner and check in for tomorrow's snack!

You are so lucky that your grade level doesn't test! We have to test our kindergarteners!

I have two favorites-can't choose between them.

http://papertango.blogspot.com/2007/05/summertime.html

http://papertango.blogspot.com/2007/05/heart-break-hill.html

I like them for different reasons but both because they are things I love to do-run and take baths.

I think my favorite card to date is the one I just made for my boss for her wedding.. .but I can't post that yet, in case she finds this, so my next favorite is:

I had such fun making this card for an Easter challenge - the only directions were to use two different patterned paper. There are just so many cards I have made that I really like.

My favorite (well, one of the top 5) of mine is this one:

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/479760?cat=500&ppuser=103425

It was one of my very first cards ever made -certainly of that quality. I cased one of my favorite stampers -sharon, notimetostamp. Ahhhh, just lovely.

Thanks for the question, it made me browse thru my entire gallery and rediscover some old cards! Hugs, michelle

My favorite is my first. It showed me that I could do it, too. I'm a newbie and have only done 7!
