Hot Cocoa...

Yes, I know it's summer but why not get a head start on your Christmas cards and/or gifts.  Just hop along through the blogs to get some inspiration. If you are participating in the blog hop, you should have come from Linda's blog and if not, then you should start from the beginning with Karen's blog until you come to my blog.

Yesterday, August 1, the a*muse|studio holiday catalog was released.  LOTS of great stamp sets, paper, and embellishments.  So, today we are focusing on the holidays.  I chose Cup of Good Cheer to showcase.  Mine is not actually a card- I am a teacher and I am planning on putting together little goody bags with hot cocoa packet, marshmallows and a candy cane for Christmas (some call it snowman soup).  I figure this would be a good bag topper when I get those bags filled.  Enjoy!  Thanks for looking- and I would love to hear what little gifty type things you are going to do.  I did keep this CAS!

Recipe:
Stamps- cup of good cheer
Ink- black
Paper- kraft, cherry, sugar
Accessories- copic marker, cherry chevron ribbon (I know it looks crooked but it's really not) :)

Here's a list of all the blogs participating:

It's a Poppin' Good Time :)

Okay, I couldn't resist. Today is the day for December's Creative Consultant blog hop!

"If you are participating in the blog hop, you should have come from Samantha's blog.

The theme for this month was anything goes! I went for something easy- I made these popcorn sliders for a craft show/bazaar earlier in November but these make fun gifts for teachers, friends, or stocking stuffers. You can add a movie gift card or a gift card for a video store (if there's any around anymore) and it makes a fun little gift. Enjoy and if you need any let me know- I have several or can make them quickly! All supplies are a*muse|studio and can be found here!

First Day of School!

Welcome to the October a*muse|studio blog hop. Samantha had some things going on this month so I volunteered to "host" this month and my theme challenge was scrapbooking. I started out in this paper crafting hobby with scrapbooking and 4 years later was introduced to card making. Now, when I scrapbook I tend to do the smaller 6x6 pages instead of the 12x12 pages I started with. I put together this page for my nephew's first day of Kindergarten next year (*sniff I won't be able to be there). I am the first stop on this hop this month. So, take a peek and then take a few minutes to hop on to the next one.

Oh, and by the way- comment on any posts from October 1 through October 3 and you will be entered to win a set of twinkle stickers and a "grab bag" of ribbon in honor of yesterday's World Card Making Day!
