It's been a rough couple of weeks- I have had no time to stamp- and, even worse- no mojo. Thankfully, this week is spring break (woohoo- only 32 more school days with students- at least according to a co-worker). I want to welcome you to this stop on the {ippity} hop for today! I am tired and wanting to head to bed so a quick synopsis of the thoughts and challenges of this card along with the recipe and I will let you get on your way. I am not a "lot of layers" type of person lately- my time is limited so I really gravitate towards sketches that are CAS.
Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenges are a great way to get some mojo flowing. I also used the colors found in this cake from
Hope Stamps Eternal as my inspiration.
Now, the inspiration for the card actually came from some thoughts tonight- I have been a bit down today- I don't know if it's the weather, the season, etc. but I have been struggling with the fact that I am single. Normally, I am good with this fact- I'm content where I am but lately, not so much. I made this card to remind myself (and other friends) that One Day.... No specific purpose in mind for this card other than I thought it could be used as encouragement or just to write a sweet note on the inside... Anyway, I hope you enjoy and I'm hoping to get to the hop today! I will be back tomorrow with some sweet new images :)
