You Rock!

I got an email the other day asking me to be a guest designer for the CAS challenge over at SCS. This challenge is always right up my alley- love to keep my cards CAS. I was supposed to have a turn later this year but she needed to switch and since I had some crafting time this week (I mean since I MADE some crafting time this weekend) I pulled this one together. The best thing about CAS is that they usually come together quickly! This week's challenge was a sketch! and a relatively easy one at that! Enjoy!

Summer is Hot, Hot, Hot :)

This summer has definitely been a hot one but this week, for being the middle of August, has been surprisingly pleasant. Not too hot, nice breezes, and lots of sunshine. The CAS challenge over at SCS was to create a card that symbolized "hot". I went with the bright colors that I love to see in the summer. Pretty soon we are going to see lots of fall colors (oranges, browns, etc) and then winter colors (red, green, blues, whites, etc) so let's get one last hurrah in! I drew my summer inspiration from the ocean and papaya colors. Loving this color combination so may have to make a few more with this one before summer is over! Makes some bright and cheery cards! Snowman Wishes

Merry Christmas Tuesday! It's officially less than 2 months until Christmas (can you believe that?) What do you have on your Christmas list? I know it's only a matter of time before I am asked for mine so I need to get thinking. My family is not into getting me crafty things :( (not sure why) other than Hobby Lobby or M's gift cards (which are just fine with me!).

A QUICK CAS card to share today. I am still in the midst of my 100 card goal and am only about 25% of the way there. Still have a LONG way to go. I'm hoping to have some time throughout this week and the weekend to get some made.
