This past weekend was the mini VSN over at SCS. One of the challenges was to create a card with a favorite summer past-time. Well, mine was easy- I LOVE to read. And, during the summer I read A LOT. This past summer I have read more books than I usually do but I was really focused on staying home and not feeling like I had to "be" everywhere. If you saw this over at SCS you saw that my "guilty pleasure" was reading the Nancy Drew mysteries (the older ones). I checked out all that my library had to offer throughout the summer. They are a quick read and take me back to my childhood. I remember one friend and I would pretend we were solving mysteries in the neighborhood. So, this card was an easy one for me to put together (and thanks Lisa for putting it on the Sunday Faves on the ippity blog- I also received a note that someone had put it on the CAS faves for the week- what an honor these both were!)

Ink- black, copic markers
Paper- Peach Parfait, Pear Pizazz, white, Jillibean Soup
Accessories- Nestabilities, buttons, twine, dimensionals, crimper (on the butterfly- another part of the VSN challenge)
