MFT card- It's a Jungle Out There

Today- this card fits. I started out running late (I'm not quite sure how that happened since I got up at the same time) and when I got to school everything seemed okay. Then we started with reading and I have one student who just doesn't like to come to reading class (he's not in my homeroom). Well, I made a deal with him and he did great from 8-9. At 9 we started the writing portion of reading and he just flipped a switch and didn't want to do anything I asked. He told me "I don't have to obey you because you don't obey me". Ummm.... he's 7 I'm 32. Then he tried to leave the room a couple of times so I had to sit in front of the door and give assessments. After that he got mad because I told him he wasn't gonig to be able to go back to class until he had finished his paper (I had given him several options). He refused and when reading was over I stayed in the room with him. He threw the stapler across the room, threw papers on the floor, and tore stuff off my walls. After all that I was standing in front of the door and reminded him he couldn't leave until he had cleaned up the mess and he walked up to me and shoved me into my classroom door. He did get suspended for tomorrow but I'm not sure how Monday will go. I'll just be praying that Monday goes well! Anyway, here's a card for you.
