Autumn Leaves

Autumn is in full force here in East Tennessee.  Due to the rain and past weather the leaves have already started changing colors.  This is one of my favorite times to experience in ET (although check in with me in a few weeks when my sinus issues hit hard).  I created this card using the Limelight Papercrafts challenge (sketch and product) and for Lee's color challenge over on SCS to use red, gold, and green.  I'm not in Christmas mode yet so I decided to go with the Autumn theme!  I added my gold using my versamarker and doodling around the edges and embossing it with gold embossing powder.  See that sentiment- it's one of the newest digi sentiments from Sunshine Stamps.  When I saw it I knew it was perfect!  Sunshine is adding new items on a regular basis and they are just cute stuff!

Recipe:
Stamps- Gina K- Autumn Splendor, Sunshine Stamps
Paper- Old Olive, Riding Hood Red, white
Ink- black, copic markers, old olive marker
Accessories- versamarker, ribbon, dimensionals, gold embossing powder

Oh this is sooo pretty! Love the leaves! I love fall...I know its the end of my favourite season of all...but I do enjoy the Christmas holidays as well! The leaves have just begun to change here in Winnipeg...I suspect the winds will knock them down before they have a chance to really WOW us this year! Terrific card, the sentiment is really highlighted here without over powering the images. :)
